To build on this, these liquid supplements are delivered in a spray mist directly into the mouth - which is the first step of the gastrointestinal tract. As a result, some of the nutrients will be absorbed rapidly across the lining of the mouth. Nutrients that are not absorbed at this point will go on to be absorbed at other points along the gastrointestinal Tract.

The important point here is that the gastrointestinal tract begins in the mouth. The mucosal tissue in the mouth has similarities to that found in the lower gastrointestinal tract and therefore allows for very similar absorption of nutrients. This essentially starts the process of absorption sooner and you are benefited by a quicker and more effective delivery of the supplement.
